Sunset picnics at Villa Reale have become an unmissable event: #chicnic

Treat yourself to the thrill of experiencing the gardens of Villa Reale in the evocative light of the sunset with a chic nic with a starry character like that of the renowned Butterfly restaurant in Marlia which from this year collaborates with Villa Reale for picnics outside the city and with the bistro SurReale in the historic center.

Thanks to the extraordinary opening of the park after 6pm and thanks to the collaboration with chef Fabrizio Girasoli, you will have the opportunity to experience an exclusive experience of nature with refined gardens, freshly restored architecture and taste of traditional flavors revisited in a contemporary key.

TO ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE FULLY we recommend arriving around 17:30 to have time to visit the park, the Villa and the Clock Building with the sunset light and then reach the café where you can collect your basket and bottle of wine by 7:30 pm.
Once you have collected the basket you will find the picnic station set up with a lake view and delight the palate and the view!

The event will end with the onset of darkness around 9.15pm. The last entrance to the palaces will be at 6:30 pm.

Given the exceptional nature of the chicnic, it will be necessary to book entry with the picnic by the Tuesday before the picnic you wish to participate in, by purchasing the confirmation deposit online.

BOOKING METHOD

Under the date, we will activate the section of our online shop shop.villarealedimarlia.it, just select the date of the desired picnic and proceed with the 5 pm booking for the number of people who will participate in the picnic. Once the payment has been made, an email will arrive to be presented on the evening of the picnic, during which the rest of the participation fee will be paid (by card or cash).

The chicnic stations will be set up according to the reservation – the arrangement of the blankets cannot be changed on the evening of the picnic. In the case of several friends who want to participate together, we ask that a single reservation be made or that we be notified by email which reservations are “together”.

The deposit will not be refunded in case of non-participation in the event (on the official date or on the recovery date due to rain) and if you become aware of your impossibility to come, we ask you to notify us in advance to give someone else the opportunity to attend.

IMPORTANT: In case of rain, the picnic will be postponed to 1 September 2023
