Outdoor painting combines the beauty of travel experience with painting practice. The destinations are all charming and in contexts where nature is master. Far away from the daily noise and routine, painting in the middle of nature or in places rich of historical memory creates a unique emotional state, as the Impressionists handed down to us …. Sketches, paintings, works full of inspiration as well as good company, will be the memories that will come home with you.
Experience the beauty of Lucca with a short painting class in the park! A unique opportunity to paint en plein air in the magical spots around the park of Villa Reale under the guidance of Federica, graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, also fluent inEnglish. The techniques mainly indicated are acrylics and watercolours.
When: Every Thursday morning, from 10am to 1pm
Where do we meet: At Villa Reale main entrance at 9.45 am
What to bring: all painting/drawing materials (colours, pencils, brushes, paper, canvas etc). We provide easels and stools on site.
