The ANCIENT FUTURE concept-streaming will be broadcast as part of LINK’D Sessions, a collaboration between Denon DJ and Beatport LINK that focuses on pushing the creative boundaries of artists and performers.

Music is not at the center, it is just one of the elements of beauty. The ANCIENT FUTURE concept-streaming will be broadcast as part of LINK’D Sessions, a collaboration between Denon DJ and Beatport LINK that focuses on pushing the creative boundaries of artists and performers.
This is how ANCIENT FUTURE was born, the new concept-streaming by Luca Bacchetti for BEATPORT and DENON DJ, the first giant of electronic music and the largest digital store in the world.

In these months following the initial euphoria, I believe that the streaming format has steadily become less incisive: often the soundtrack has absolutely nothing to do with the beauty of the landscape and the resulting sensation has been one of something that is incomplete. This is why I was excited by the challenge of bringing club music into unusual spaces with the firm intention of finding points of contact, using a new poetic and narrative. In this scenario, music is only one of the elements, indissoluble from the images, always maintaining one foot in the club world and the other in the sublime. Inevitably, being Italian and just looking around reminds me of my responsibility in this sense. In a world where, once again, there is the risk of an arbitrary imposition of absolute ethics, what really needs to be celebrated as absolute is Beauty itself.

ANCIENT FUTURE is the streaming project written by Luca Bacchetti, the music selected and mixed by himself.
It sees the collaboration of video-makers, photographers, visual arts, artists, actors and actresses, dancers.
During the entire duration of the steaming, the contemporary artist Giorgia Madiai will perform in the splendid setting of the Lemon Garden of Villa Reale di Marlia.
The entire video production is entrusted to the Lucchesi video-makers, Kalispéra, who will be able to entertain you with beautiful images of the gardens of Villa Reale, throughout the concert.
